Our Orthodox Homeschool Co-Op provides a Christ-centered learning environment where children of all ages learn together in community. Rooted in the Orthodox faith, our program combines academic enrichment, hands-on activities, and fellowship for both students and parents.
Currently serving 9–13 children, with additional students expected in the fall, the co-op offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes Biblical History, Old Testament studies through Biblioplan curriculum, Medieval Times and Early Church History with an Orthodox perspective, reading and writing, STEM/STEAM activities, science, math, crafts, games, and physical education through outdoor activities and recreation. All age groups learn together.
Classes are designed to encourage participation, creativity, and faith formation through interactive learning, role-playing, storytelling, and collaborative projects. We are presently working on broadening our curriculum for Fall 2026.
The co-op meets on Mondays at 9:30am when Monday Liturgy is not scheduled or from Noon until approximately 4:30 PM following Monday Liturgy. Field trips and special activities are also scheduled throughout the week to enrich the educational experience.
Parents are encouraged to take an active role in the community by assisting with activities, meal preparation, and supporting their children’s homeschool portfolios through photos and project documentation. A light lunch is provided for both children and parents.
To learn more or join the community WhatsApp group, please speak to one of the co-op coordinators: Pani, Julianna, Thais or Cleopatra.
